I don't even know where to begin, it has been a very eventful day! Steve and I have been talking about taking the kids to the snow for a while now. We decided to take them today since Santa brought them a bunch of snow stuff. We left the house about 8 am and had rain for the first 30 minutes or so. That quickly turn to snow and our driving visibility turn poor quickly. We pulled off to put on our snow chains and Steve was able to get them on easy. (That was a plus!) There was SO MUCH snow! It was really beautiful!
All I can say is a married a saint, between the kids laughing and screaming in the back and me having an anxiety attach and bawling my eyes out in the front seat; he remained calm and got us there safely! We were not able to get to the park that we had planned to go sledding so we stop in a Rite Aid parking lot in Truckee and let the kids play for a few minutes.
With all said and done, we did have a lot of fun and we are going to do it again! (Just not during a storm!)
