The Dinner Table

So, tonight at the dinner table I was talking to the kids about getting older and the things that they will get to do.  We talked about going to college, servings a church mission, getting married, having kids and what careers they might have. Normally this kind of talk freaks the kids out.  Nicholas usually insisted that he is going to live with mom and dad forever!!! But tonight was a different story...


Nicholas has decided that when he gets married he wants to have TRIPLET BOYS!  When I asked him what he was going to do, that he would be able to support these three boys, he said "um, I think my wife will want to work.  Then I can stay home with them." Ha Ha Ha!  He is to funny! We will see how long that will last.

Meghan wants to have three kids as well.  (not triplets though)  She wants to have a boy, then a girl, then an other boy.  "That way it will be a pattern", she said.  She wants to stay home with her kids but then work sometimes at an ice cream shop "because everyone loves ice cream".  She is such a sweetheart and is always wanting to make sure everyone is happy!

Hannah did not really understand what we were talking about but when it was her turn she said she wanted to be a doctor.  I think, she was thinking we were still talking about Halloween costumes though.
