Meet Charlie

Today the kids (and myself) got an early Christmas present!  Meet Charlie, she is an 8 week black and silver miniature schnauzer.  She has a great temperament.  She loves to play and loves to snuggle.  I am not sure who is more excited, the kids or myself!

Of course, Hannah had to put the parmesan cheese on her spaghetti all by herself and ended up with way too much!

Church Christmas Dinner

Last Friday night, our church had a Christmas dinner.  It was a nice evening full of food and friends.  They had put together a beautiful program of Christ birth, I only wish I would have gotten pictures of the Nativity.  I was so beautiful!

The dinner was a pot lock and I had signed up to bring soup... While making my soup I dropped my huge 4cup Pyrex measuring cup on the counter and this happened...

Glass was EVERYWHERE!  All over the counter, floor, and myself.  It took forever to clean up!

She can do it herself!

So, this year I decided that it was time for the big kids to start making their own lunches for school.  What I forgot is that Hannah thinks she is a big kid too. So, when snack time rolled around she wanted a nutella sandwich.  She got down the bread, the nutella, and brought out the step stool.  I tired to help but was told, "I can do it myself!"  And so she did!  She even used the heal of the bread.  If I would have tried to give that to her she would have freaked, but since she did it herself I guess it was okay.  She was very proud of herself, it was too cute!
