Fun day in Folsom

We Started out at the outlet mall...

Then went to Historic Folsom and walked through the Pioneer village.  We also got to pan for gold!

On Saturday we went to Cattlemen's Steak House for Father's day dinner for Steve.  It was so good , we bought tee-shirts for the kids and every time the wear it to dinner they eat free!  Looks like we will be going there a lot more!

Meghan helped me decorate the bedroom door.  We added a sign that said "Every super hero needs to make a grand entrance".  The kids loved watching Steve break through the streamers!

Nick came up with the idea of putting a sign that said "We make a great Mix" on the snack mix.

We put Steve favorite candy (resse's pieces) in a jar with a sign that said "We love you to Pieces"!

Fishing

Charlie got a short "summer" cut!  She looks so different... : (

We did not stay very long or catching anything.  We decided that next time we are going to do a little recon before dragging 3 kids, 4 fishing poles, tackle,  a dog, 3 chairs, snacks, and water on a hike.  We burned a lot of calorie though!  And had fun!  We are already planning to go on a hike this weekend.

Progress on the House

We went to check on the progress of our new house.  It is so nice to be able to be part of the building progress. We should be ready to move in mid July, and we can't wait!  After being in an apartment for 6 weeks it is going to feel like a mansion!

We have had a lot of fun trying new places to eat!  Hannah really enjoyed her strawberry shake from Smash Burger!

Tonight we try Skipolini's and it was really yummy!  Kids got to make their own pizzas and Steve and I really enjoyed the fried green beans.  They were seriously the most amazing things!  We also got a pizza that had roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, sun dried tomatoes and chicken, mmmm!

Happy 8th Birthday to my favorite little man!  I am so excited for what we have planned today!  I will be post pictures in the next few days!

We made it!

 After 8 Long weeks, we are together again!  Yesterday was the last day of school so the kids and I are now up in Sacramento with Steve!  Yeah!  Here are a few fun pictures...
