What is better than cookies, you ask?  Making cookies with Grandpa!  Kids had fun and the cookies were very yummy!

Jog-a-Thon

So the kids had a Jog-a-thon at school a few weeks a go.  They had been sick all week so they were disappointed that they were not able to do as well as they have in years past.  (I cant remember how many laps they did) but I do have pictures!

  

Friendship bracelets

I feel like we have been watching too much t.v. and spending too much time on the computer lately. So, today we are learning to braid and making friendship bracelets!

Homemade Bread

I never knew that Homemade bread was so delicious!  I gave it a try on Wednesday night and was surprised at how easy it was too.  I found the recipe at here.  I will be doing this again for sure!  And even though it is a recipe for white bread, I substituted 1/2 the white flour for whole wheat and I was still so Yummy!  I was going to take a picture of the inside but we ate it too fast!

 

Woohoo!

Today after school we took the kids out to practice riding their bikes with out training wheels.  Nick picked it up in about two tries.  Meghan did awesome as well, but is still a little unsure about it.  Hannah got a bike for her birthday, so we have been working on pedaling.  She is now able to ride with training wheels but she forget to steer. : )  I have some videos, but I will warn you that they are from my phone and they uploaded side ways.  If you get motion sickness, I would suggested that you look away! (But make sure you check out the pictures first!)

Bubbles!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day that the girls and I went out back to blow some bubbles!  Hannah was spinning around so fast, she kept falling down.  Then, would jump up a yell "I'm ok, mom!"  Even before I would get a chance to ask, It was too funny.  Meghan is an expert bubble blower!  She was able to get some really big ones!

Fun Times

The other day Nicholas found a recipe for home made muffins and wanted to try to make them.  The kids and I took turns measuring ingredients and mixing.  We added some chopped apples and strawberries into the mix and  I was surprised at how Yummy they turned out!

Bitter-Sweet!

Tomorrow our Baby girl will be 3 years old!  I can't believe it!  She is such a big girl now.  Tonight we went out to dinner to celebrate and I captured these videos and pictures.  I love the way she sings her abc's! (but I guess now that she is 3, it is time to teach her the correct order)  She loves to be the center of attention and loves to talk to everyone!  She is NOT shy like her brother and sister!  When the ladies at our favorite Mexican Restaurant sang to her she was thrilled and even loved that they put whip cream on her face!

Hannah's Princess Party

Next Wednesday, Hannah will be turning 3!  Yeah!  We had a princess party in her honor! It was a nice low key party with pizza pin the tail on the donkey and cake.
